Sujit Das obtained his PhD at the IFW Dresden/Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany. His project aimed at understanding the magnetic order at coherent oxide interfaces. Following his PhD, he began a post-doctoral position at University of California, Berkeley under the prestigious “Gorton-Betty Moore” funding program to investigate ferroic topology, ferroelectric quantum materials and low-energy ferroelectric devices. He developed expertise in Laser MBE, piezoresponse force microscopy, X-ray diffraction, SQUID magnetometer techniques. He also acquired experience synchrotron based techniques.
He joined the Oxitronics group in March, 2021 as a post-doctoral researcher. He is exploring antiperovskite systems.
