Luis Moreno Vincente-Arche graduated in Materials Engineering from the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain). His end of grade project focused on the synthesis, preparation and characterization of strontium hexaferrite powders (SFO) in order to optimize their properties for hard-soft hybrid systems with an improved energy product. He completed the Master of Nanophysics and Advanced Materials at the same university, with a final project on dynamic processes of ferroelectric domains studied by Low Energy Electron Microscopy.

During his PhD in our group, Luis explored the Edelstein effects (inverse and direct) in heterostructures and nanostructures based on SrTiO3, KTaO3 and related oxides.

He now works as an Engineer on our UHV cluster.
