Hugo Witt started in the group as a last-year student from the French “Grande Ecole” Centrale/Supélec from Université Paris-Saclay. He did an internship in our group in strong collaboration with the Laboratoire de Physique et d’Etude des Matériaux of ESPCI in Paris and started a PhD in March 2022. His research topic concerns oxide two-dimensional electron gases with superconducting and spin-orbit properties.

Outside of work, Hugo likes hiking and plays handball.
