Araceli Gutiérrez Llorente is an Associate Professor at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid, Spain). She graduated in Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in June 1994 a got her PhD degree in Physics at the Applied Physics department of the same university in 1999. She has extensive experience in the pulsed laser deposition of oxide materials and in their structural and physical characterization, acquired through stays in various institutions (Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris ; Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source, USA ; Universidad Santiago de Compostela, Spain ; University College London, UK).
